20 Year Reunion Weekend - Friday, July 22nd & Saturday, July 23rd

I just wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciate your kinds words. I personally want to thank everyone that served on the planning committee (Jeff Urbanski, Keith Sanders, Jen Starry, Rose Fuscaldo) and those that weren't on the committee but jumped in to help along the way (Holli Urbanski, Shelley Urbanski, Gina Galati, Liza Suh, Amy Shaffer, Claudia Marion and her husband Shaun Marion). Sure we created an opportunity for everyone to gather but the success of the event and overall experience really comes down to the fact that we have such great people in our class. It only takes a little time together to be reminded of this and I have seen similar sentiments expressed over and over again on our Chap facebook page. I'd like to echo the request that we not let so much time pass between gatherings. Why wait 5 years or even 10? Let's try to get together at least annually. 
My only regret from this past weekend is that there were people I missed. I wanted so badly to make time stop or at least pause...but it was a whirlwind and before I could blink it was over. Perhaps there is nothing that can compare to the experience of being young together. Especially when the backdrop was a place like "Vegas" and the unique set of circumstances that only us natives could share. Mix into that a whole lot of chemistry and you end up with what I believe is the most bonded tightly knit class Chaparral High School has ever seen. 

Looking forward to the next time...and the next time...we can see each other again.
